This blog really is a one off, celebrating 21 years of the Chalk Gallery opening, the gallery after 21 years is moving to its new address and the return of a founder member from 21 years ago, Michèle Findlay, so this blog combines both the past and the future. We have asked Michèle to share with us on this special occasion her thoughts of the Chalk Gallery over the years.

We are now happily settled in our new gallery in Station Street and loving being part of such a vibrant community of independent traders.

Summer is well and truly upon us and our new home in Station Street, Lewes has got off to a flying start. We have a brand new show of the gallery artists' work opening on 2nd June. We have three guest artists Hella Keevil a ceramicist, Clare Buckle a printmaker and Jo Burton a painter. We are also thrilled to welcome back landscape painter Eva Wibberley as a Chalk member. Please join us at our launch party on Sunday 14th June from 3pm to 6pm.
