In this blog we look at the artists who are members of this illustrious gallery, so in no particular order we’re starting with Chris Schneider. Over to you Chris, as honest as possible, thank you.

Our January Sale is over and our New Beginnings show is now in the gallery. Our featured artist this month is Linda Letham and we welcome three guest artists this time. Jax Martin-Betts, Caroline O'Grady (ceramics) and Jayne Luscombe (Jewellery).

The lovely calm aura of The Chalk Gallery is not necessarily what it seems. As a cooperative all the artists involved have different jobs within the gallery to ensure its smooth running. It may not be apparent when you wander into the gallery, but the analogy of the serene swan gliding effortlessly across calm waters whilst going like the clappers underneath is not far from the truth but that’s not exactly the image we wish to convey!
