Sally Smith

Sally Smith is a painter living and working in Brighton. She takes inspiration from things that people collect. She paints the treasures that she has collected over the years, which can be small whimsical objects, plants, and crockery either gifted, found or inherited.

She is drawn to colour and shape and the pieces that appear in her work which are inherited, evoke an element of nostalgia and memory.

She has recently exhibited at the Sussex Contemporary and at Kellie Miller Art.
