Call for Artists
Membership includes:

extensive promotion of your work via our newsletter, website, on-line shop, social media postings and many other marketing opportunities including featuring on our gallery blog.

promotion of your work at popular and well-attended events including if you wish to arrange your own Private View as a featured artist.

a 'buddy' system to help with getting to know our practices and procedures to ensure you are conversant with how the gallery works.

Joining Chalk enables you to actively contribute towards the management of the business and running the gallery.

a wonderful and unique opportunity to develop and hone your skills as an artist in every respect.
Application for membership (please quote you are applying for membership) can be made by submitting a brief CV and up to 5 images of your work (less than 1MB per file) to: chalkgallerylewes@gmail.com
The membership fee is £45 per month. Members pay a £100 deposit returnable after giving one month's notice of leaving the gallery.
Guest Artists
Throughout the year Chalk Gallery also runs a programme of Guest Artists who are invited to exhibit in the gallery for the period of one of our exhibitions (normally 8 weeks).
The fee is £200 payable in advance.
Application as a Guest Artist (please quote you are applying as a Guest Artist) can be made by submitting a brief CV and up to 5 images of your work (less than 1MB per file) to: chalkgallerylewes@gmail.com
The many benefits of being featured as a Guest Artist at Chalk include:

showing your work on our online shop for the duration of the 8 week exhibition.

promotion in our newsletter, along with our regular members and announcements of special events and new exhibitions.

being featured in our popular and well-attended events, which invite our followers and the general public.

inclusion in our very active social media presence promoting our artists and guest artists on a regular basis, as well as the opportunity to publish on our gallery blog.

as a very friendly group of artists we always make guest artists feel welcome in addition to offering you an opportunity to enlarge your audience.
