Irina Hoble
Working primarily in acrylics and making full use of tools for mark-making to create a sense of place, Irina’s work is full of energy, interest and movement. She draws inspiration from the volatile nature of our dreams and how these intertwine with our memories and the concept of place and movement.
Intentionally stripped of human presence, vegetation, horizon lines, or any other elements that might anchor us to reality, these barren images invite the viewer into a world of possibility. Here, the audience is encouraged to reconstruct, deconstruct, invent, and re-invent stories, places, and objects – discovering new meanings and connections with each encounter.
Irina successfully balances her full-time career as an architect with her passion for fine art, creating a dynamic and stimulating environment that fuels her creativity. After the pandemic, she became more dedicated to painting, and in 2022, she joined Chalk Gallery, a significant step in her artistic journey.
