Shipping and Returns Policy
During checkout, please select Free UK Delivery or Collect from Chalk Gallery. Please note that some artworks are only available for collection due to their size and/or fragility. This is specified on each product page.
Collecting from Chalk Gallery
The artwork will be delivered to the gallery by the artist, usually within 5 business days. The artist will contact you by email or phone to let you know when your order is ready for collection.
The gallery is currently closed and will soon reopen. The artist will arrange a suitable date and time for you to collect your artwork from the Gallery.

Delivery by the Artist
If you select Free UK Shipping during checkout, the artist who created the work will arrange to ship it to you directly. They will be given your delivery instructions and will aim to ship the work within 5 business days.
We hope you will be happy with your new purchase. However, if for any reason you decide you wish to return it, here is our Returns Policy.
We accept returns up to 14 days from the date you received the item (the “Artwork”) from us. If more than 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
We do not accept returns for Artwork that has been made to order or commissioned.
To be eligible for a return, your Artwork must be returned to us unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.
To complete your return, you will need to show us your receipt or proof of purchase.
If you return the Artwork in person, we may have to contact the artist who created it to inspect its condition and approve or reject it for a refund, but normally we will be able to inspect it while you wait and let you know.
If you return your item by post, we will send you an email to notify you once we have received and inspected it. We will also notify you whether we approve or reject your refund.
If your refund is approved, it will then be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your card/bank account within a certain amount of days, depending on your card provider’s terms.
We reserve the right to reject your refund, for example if the Artwork arrives damaged or if we suspect our refunds policy is being abused.
To return your Artwork, you should bring it in to our gallery in person at 4, North Street, Lewes, BN7 2PA during opening hours, or post it to that address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the Artwork and for ensuring it arrives in the same condition that you received it. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (if applicable). You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance (we do not guarantee that we will receive the returned Artwork).
