The gallery is on the one-way system just before you turn downhill towards the Phoenix Causeway.
There are numerous car parks (free on Sundays) in the vicinity.

The gallery is a 5 minute walk from Lewes train station, just 1hr 8mins from London Victoria and 20 mins from Brighton or from Eastbourne.
