Mixed Media Textiles

“I am an obsessive textile mixed media artist. For many years I was a company director but I’m a firm believer in reinvention and have been a textile artist now for over 10 years.

My inspiration is very broad…it’s life itself with its highs and lows which I translate with textiles, that incorporates machine embroidery, hand embroidery, painting, printing, dying, bleaching, embellishing and so the list goes on!

The fabric I use is primarily cotton, linen, silk and anything I’m given.

The three most important things to me are colour, texture and stitch…but sharing my love and enthusiasm for anything textile is just as important!”
