WITH AN OPEN HEART – Paintings and Prints
Linda Lethem's latest collection of paintings and prints, 'With an open Heart' is a celebration of nature. Linda is particularly inspired by the Sussex landscape, her tropical water garden in Chailey and woodland walks with her Greek rescue dog, Monty.

In Linda's own words:
“I feel immensely privileged to live in such a beautiful part of the world. After living and working in Greece for thirteen years, I was worried that the UK wouldn't offer me the inspiration that the Mediterranean light does. However, I was delighted to quickly realise that Sussex in particular offers immense natural beauty for any artist, no matter what their preferred medium.

Sussex holds my heart and offers me light in a world that is often in the shadows. Through my art I actively seek out light, beauty and hope. I aim to remain curious and positive with an open heart.”
Linda is currently Chair of Chalk Gallery Lewes and also shows in UNO Gallery, Seaford, West End Gallery, Worthing and Strand Quay Gallery, Rye.

Education:
1982-1983: Foundation Course in Art and Design, St Albans School of Art
1983 – 1986: BA Hons Degree in Fine Art, Painting, Cheltenham School of Art.
1989 – 1991: Masters Degree in Fine Art Printmaking at The University of Brighton.
