After 30 years in television production a move to East Sussex was the perfect time for a change in direction.  Meeting fused glass artist, Tony Wynne, gave me the opportunity to return to my creative roots, having exchanged a degree in Dress, Art & Design for life in Sit-Com land back in the 1980s.

I joined Tony's workshops in 2014 and set up my own studio a few years later, when I created ‘Glassophony’ - meaning 'symphony in glass’.

Glass is a beautiful medium to work with.  It brings joy, lift spirits and comes into its own when interacting with light, be it sunlight or candlelight, reflected or transmitted.  Like each of us glass has the ability to be both deeply complex and wonderfully straightforward.  There is always a sense of excitement when opening the kiln and seeing the magical transformation that has occurred during the firing process.

Inspired by nature, childhood games and abstract art I create practical items for the home, as well as decorative art and jewellery.

I accept commissions and share my love of glass through workshops for adults and children.
