Lucy studied Fine Art, graduating in 1998. During this time she developed a love for oil painting finding much inspiration in the beautiful richness and depth of oil colours.

 

Working on canvas and paper Lucy takes inspiration from time spent in the Sussex countryside and coast with her family.

 

Lucy’s work balances abstraction and landscape, drawing from the colour, movement and emotion of time spent outdoors with her family. Her pieces evolve through process allowing colour, form and instinct to lead the way.
