Jackie Gwyther

Jackie is an oil painter based in Sevenoaks, Kent.

She creates intelligent, delicate paintings celebrating the intriguing and intricate beauty of nature. Her realistic style, with a natural sense of depth and space, is combined with a delicate use of harmonious natural colours, delicacy of tone and use of balanced close-up compositions.  Her paintings draw the viewer into quiet contemplation and the appreciation of the finer, exquisite details of nature.

Jackie is also a portrait artist and takes commissions for human and pet portraiture. She has a life-sized mural of a mediaeval girl on permanent display in the Shambles, an historic area of Sevenoaks.

Jackie is a member of and exhibitor with the Kent Painters group, the Sevenoaks Visual Arts Forum, the Stone Street Art Group and the Hesketh Hubbard Art Society
