I am a self taught artist based in Brighton. I am interested in the interplay between line and colour and have exhibited in Leeds, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Edinburgh and Brighton. I am inspired to paint by many things - from walking in the Downs to looking at the work of other painters such as Patrick Caulfield and Patrick Heron. My work can be quite bold in its use of colour, but I am moving towards using fewer colours in order to get maximum impact.
