ARTISTS STATEMENT
I have always loved to paint, and especially to draw. I was inspired initially by my father who painted in oils and exhibited regularly. I have work in several local exhibitions annually. Voted best painting at the Chailey & Newick Painting group exhibition Nov.2009. Runner up in the Bath Prize 2010. Painting Selected for the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours 200th exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London 2012. I am kept very busy with commissions. Archaeology and local history are my other interests, and I love to look above the shopfronts, and see the old buildings, and imagine what may have gone before.
